Re: The Orb of Knowledge
Yes, I agree Data could not be infected because come on, who ever heard of an android being sick?
However, the analysis did not show who wasn't infected. It only showed how many people were.

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
(@ Kong, no worries. I got your PM now.)
(Facts)
@ As you are aware at 1630 hours today there was a power blackout of a large portion of the Enterprise's saucer section. A few minutes after the blackout I received a report from the science lab guard. He reported the Orb was in its containment field as usual, and that Dr. Eulan and Lt. Commander LaForge were the only individuals seen in the area. We are all aware that Geordi's VISOR allows him to see in the dark when others could not.
I also just received a report from the security detail working on the investigation and they have just found what appears to be a fake Orb in the shuttle bay.
Furthermore, one of my security officers advised me that the probe which was launched at 1645 hours today has returned from Delphi 4 with a soil sample. Strangely the probe has a large hole in it about 20 cm in diameter and is missing some of its parts. I find this very suspicious.

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
i happen to know that will was in the forward probe storage, area he placed his gray engineering bag in one of the probes and quickly left. later on at approximatly 4:45 this afternoon will ordered data to fire a class 3 planetary probe. data asked for specifics to witch will replied "the probe to test soil sample recovery techniques on the planet"
I sensed that data was up to some thing because he nomally could accomplish this in a few seconds and this time it took him a full minute.
then at 4:50 i saw ro and sensed some secretiveness in ro when she returned to the bridge carrying a black engeneering bag, i looked in the bag and found this:

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
(Facts)
This afternoon I tried to locate Deanna. Due to interference from Delphi 4 the personnel locator was not functioning. I finally located her using my communicator at 1620. I could hear background noises that clearly indicated she was in the shuttle bay.
Just before 1645 I noticed Geordi was preparing to test a launch shuttle. I instructed him not to do so nut he turned a blind eye and did it anyways.
Shuttle Chief Frath mentioned that he saw Guinan exiting the shuttle bay at 1645.

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
(Facts)
I heard a medical emergency code, SSC 31, come in from Delphi 4 at around 1625 hours this afternoon. I spoke to Dr. Crusher about it over my communicator and she seemed out of breath and very anxious, which I thought was a little bit strange at the time. I asked her if she needed any assistance and she quickly replied "No need. I'm ready. On my way. Bye!" Now I may have just imagined it, but I could swear I overheard a strange sound in the background during our conversation that sounded an awful lot like... "wibble wobble, wibble wobble."
Hmm... Now that I think about it, just after the power blackout I remember seeing a heat trace from a set of very small footprints that lead into, but not out of the science lab. From their size I figure that they've gotta be female. Also, cargo transporter Chief Roley reported to me that an unauthorized transmission was made from the cargo bay transporter at 1645 hours, but no target coordinates were entered. Whatever beamed out must still be floating around in space somewhere. At that very same time I noticed on my computer screen that a probe was fired. The target coordinates were set for Delphi 4, and were pretty darn close to where Dr. Crusher had beamed to for the medical emergency.

(not to be a suspect, but) Maybe the wibble wobble, wobble wibble sounds were from Deanna's bag.

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
One of the guards that entered the room a few minutes ago dropped this.
http://retrouprising.com/sttng/7/Clues Round 4 GuinansT6c.pdf
I overheard him say that he found it in Dr. Eulan's quarters. Data, it looks like the Romeulans found a way to reprogram you. If you committed this crime it wouldn't be fully your fault. We could fix your brain and take measures to ensure this doesn't happen again. Just admit that you did it and we can start to fix the problem.
(I think that is all of the facts for the entire game except for Ro's.)

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
Sorry guys I have been busy with school I thought I posted this already
Facts
about 1615 hours I say beverly turn a corner and bump into deanna who almost dropped the gray engineering bag she was carrying. The seemed to speak briefly and you noticed beberly gaze intently in the direction of the bag. deanna seemed shaken and left quickly, walking twoard the shuttle bay's starboard entrance. beverly waited a few moments and then followed at a distance.
I happen to know that worf's guard checked the science lab immediatly after the power blackout and found the orb still in the containment field
just after 1645, you saw worf coming out of the cargo bay. he was carrying two engineering bags one blue one gray.

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
(ok so now we lost somedude can we ask count(or someone else) if he wants to step in before we conclude? I don't see it being a problem. Btw I mention count because he expressed an interest but we were already full.
Oh and btw aren't somedudes posts unreadable now? I'm not sure if any info is missed but my timeline has the majority of it.)

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
I can see his posts and I think site mods can too. Game mods probably can't.
I don't think we need Some Dude to finish.
Next step. Read over Dudebro's Timeline. Make you final accusations and defenses. I'll give us a day or two to do this.
Everybody needs to answer these questions. If you are guilty then your job is to frame someone else. If you are innocent then your job is to find the guilty person.
Who stole the Orb?
Why did they steal the Orb?
How did they steal the Orb?
Optional questions.
Who shot Dr Eulan?
Why did a guard end up in sick bay with temporal disorientation?
Who had secret contact with the Romulans?
Why was there a power black out? Were any of us responsible?
A shuttle was launched into deep space and vanished. Why?
A probe was launched at the same time. Why?
Someone tampered with the transport logs? Who?
Who made unauthorized beaming from the ship?
---------- Post added at 07:45 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:37 AM ----------
Who stole the Orb? Geordi. Everyone else except you looks guilty. That makes you the odd man out.
How did they steal the Orb? You infected everyone with nanites that forced us to do your bidding. You then reprogrammed Data's brain to also make him do your bidding. You are the only one that would have the expertise and could get close enough to get the job done. You then framed all of us. And had us transport the orb off the ship to the coordinates found on the playing card.
I'll answer the other questions later.

Re: The Orb of Knowledge
(I added all the info to the timeline. I'll check it over tonight and do my part of the investigation.)
Guinan, I find it strange that a guard just dropped a sensitive piece of info like that. While it does show where to reprogram my brain it still does not prove it actually happened.

No real deadline. Just try to not drag it on for too long.
After we make our whodunit guesses the real answers are given and the game is over. So this is the last real stage of the game.

@ Tenser, do we have the ability to cast more than one vote in the poll in the event that there are multiple guilty persons?
