Yeah, not enough commitment to this. Hard to get a read on anyone when people aren't commenting, or are just voting. Like I said, past renditions have had like 18 pages by now. Not sure what's up. I know personally I stray away from posting too much, because I don't know how to not make myself look suspicious. I tried anyways, and got the suspicions :P Guess I'm no octodad (bonus points for anyone that gets the reference).

Not sure how it's really a trial run. We've had a couple of these here before, and dozens on EVG for some of the members before that.

Nonetheless, I don't think they'll always be like this.

I think he might have been referring to the fact that it's been a few years and we had plenty of first-timers.

Let's uh... Let's just say it was all over and nobody figured it out. All of the violence in the city during the blizzard caused serious jams into the court system and this situation was just another drop in the bucket. Legally everyone seems to have gotten off the hook for electing the deaths of so many others.

Gustavo would have his revenge eventually though.

Here's the roster:

ARedLetterDay - The Shield (block the target from effects for a turn)

wolfman24 - The Sleuth (identify if the target is normal, using an ability, or Mafian)

Razeluxe - The Snoop (identify the target's target)

joz - The Squeeze (become a mafian if attacked, does not apply if half of the innocents are dead)

StarfoxFan2009

Dudebro - The Swap (make the target change their target to a random one)

ChrisP - The Sword (publically identify the target and the role of the target if the target is a Mafian, but reveal yourself to the Mafians)

stevencassidy13 - The Silence (stops the target from having a vote for one turn)

Barra - Mafian

Kong

Cam3ron36

Brawl

Tenser - The Slander (spread a convincing rumor about someone to make them suspicious)

Katz - Mafian

Almost everyone had a special role, but the idea was to have so many that they could jeopardize themselves rather than compromising mafians.

I'd also like to add that this was kind of a trial run that introduced a lot of people to the game. In the future we should avoid trying to kill off players who are active with the thread immediately. (I.E. everyone wanted to kill Tenser right away when he was probably the best thing we had going for the game)

I'll take the fault of it as I picked the mafians at random instead of giving it to seasoned players.

Considering the fact that absolutely no one responded to the fact that you drew attention to someone on the very turn that you died, I don't think it would have mattered much, lol.

Welp, in hindsight, that vote change did kill me, but I was hoping to strategically say that I'm not changing my vote even if it means death so everyone else might take down Barra next.

Really, really hard to get a read off anyone when people are barely posting like I said. My Barra guess was just a far fetched educated one really. My suspicions were up on either Kong or DB as well at the time I think. I believe I reasoned them innocent eventually and picked Barra.
