Re: 3DS Members List
Is it more like Mario 64 or SMB3?
I hated 64.

Re: 3DS Members List
@SH, why would they do it? Just special bonus for what they think are special games? Everyone will have by months end I think.
@Tails, it's split right down the middle. Cosmetically it is closer to 3, gamplay style it's 50/50. I did'nt like 64 either and I love 3D Land. It's got the freedom of movement of 64 with the control of 3.
---------- Post added at 02:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:50 AM ----------
The biggest reason that it is better than 64 is that the camera is fixed, so your control is consistent, and it's easy to judge distances.

No, it was mandatory for all manufactured Wii games to carry the latest system update on the disc. It looks like they are implementing this same strategy with 3DS cartridges.
It's just to get new updates out to consoles that are never connected to the internet.

Okay, scratch that. 3D Land doesnt even support multiplayer... why they included it with the game beats me.

Bummer. That is weird why they had it then. When I am on is random, but maybe we can play something else. I can give you a shout.

Sounds good, I think all I have for multiplayer is SF4, and soon Kart I'm anticipating some awesome R.U. tourneys.

Re: 3DS Members List
Okay I am trying to catch up on this thread. I sent everyone on the first page a friend request. Everyone's code worked except for Cameron. Is there maybe a typo on this?

Re: 3DS Members List
@WB, perhaps you made a typo entering mine? I just checked, and I have it added as the friend code lists. Not sure what's up.
Edit: Also, reason I don't think there is a typo for mine is because almost everyone else here added me back, so I'm not sure.

It's a pretty fun game. However, Skyrim has been taking up most of my gaming time, so I haven't beat it yet. I do have an absurd amount of lives, though, 3D Land hands them out like candy.

I'm trying to decide between 3d land and Kart 7. Leaning towards Kart 7, but any opinions?

I'd say Kart 7 for my own selfish reasons.

What a friggin awesome set of games too. Can't to play Wario Land 4. Strange how they'd let us have them before christmas, I guess the smart kids won't tell their parents about them.

Re: 3DS Members List
What's great about the GBA games is, unlike the NES games, I haven't already played them to death.

Re: 3DS Members List
and not gonna lie, but the NES games they chose for the most part were like all the earlier games from the 80s that involved highscores. Very quick games if you ask me. Kind of seemed like they gave us the less adventuresome and time consuming ones other than the two zeldas and mario.
Edit: and metroid. Not really complaining either, they were still free, so you know... And I do enjoy me some Ice climbers and some Balloon Fight
Edit: Also, I hate my new router. Good luck ever playing a wifi game with me at this rate.

Re: 3DS Members List
The thing about those less adventuresome games is that their replay value is very high. Aside from Wrecking Crew that is.

Re: 3DS Members List
Anyone else notice that if you had fill up nearly all the icon slots the 3DS simply adds more empty slots?
I have mine set to the smallest icon size which was all of the original slots on the same page. I was worried because they were filling up fast. Finished downloading the GBA games which would have left me with only about 5 empty slots left and boom! A whole new, second page appeared doubling my slot limit. Nice thinking Ninty (for once).
