I got this game recently from a very generous RU bro and it's awesome. So awesome I've been playing it like I used to play games when I was your age, up all night and trying to squeeze in time whenever possible during the day(like eating dinner in front of it). It's not everyones cup of tea obviously but if you like 4X, Strategy, Tactical battles and fantasy settings you should love this. After thinking about it more I realized it plays a lot like this underrated gem-
Gemfire - Super Nintendo

At first glance it looks like a mod for Civ5 but the actual gameplay varies drastically from it. You hire heroes to lead your armies and you conquer each hex on the map individually, sometimes more than once as random events can cause you to lose it for several reasons. Each hex also has landmarks to visit, but you have to explore the province to find them. These locations usually have very strong enemies guarding loot. Sometimes it will be a shop or a guild, like thieves of mages.

This part of the game is a huge part and so far I haven't even seen my opponent besides the border of his lands. Admittedly it's on beginner difficulty but even on a higher one it would probably be this way because you have to level up your heroes and your troops to fight the enemies guarding the provinces. I have no idea how multiplayer would pan out, seems like it would take a looooooong time to complete a game but I could be very wrong.

So yeah this game gets the dudebro seal of approval, you should check it out.

I had enough duplicates that when I finally crafted my badge, I had 5 leftover cards. If anyone wants them, look in my inventory and make me an offer for regular cards.

I just wanted to exit the card market without having them disappear.

The card trade bot I use (steamcardexchange.net) disabled card trading for the summer cards before I could dump them in exchange for a different full set. Dumping cards on the market is not a guaranteed sell, and I hate having credit in the Steam wallet as it's a bad temptation to spend. It's better to trade them away for something, even better if you can help someone out.

Now I get to hoard cards until the winter sale and wait for whatever new wacky money making tactic Valve comes up with for then. Can't blame them though, people are stupid. While Team Red was dominating, team change tokens were going for 8 dollars or more! All for an extra card...

Summer 2014 cards expire at 34 hours and 20 minutes of this posting time. Don't forget.

If you can stand it you should save complete sets of cards for the xmas sale. If things go as usual you'll get special cards and points for making sets then. The rest of the year will just give you junk and junky experience points for your profile.
