That page won't load for me, is it supposed to be funny or something? If it's a serious offer then why is it posted in this topic? Some fans were let down by the ending, big deal. Offering to take back open copies at this point is stupid, probably half will just be people who burned through it and want to get their money back like they would with any game.

It's serious, move it wherever you want, I don't care. Regarding the issue, I think this is quite the breakthrough, at least somebody somewhere along the pipeline cares about quality control. The page is not loading for me either, I think it might be overloading with trafiic as word is spreading. I was just there a few minutes ago though.

@steven- I ask why you put it here because this topic is for good things. So it looks like you think it's a great thing that a game is getting negative feedback or letting people down? I'm assuming you never played it, right?

I have been playing it and I think it's a great game so far. The ending might turn out to be meh but lots of games have lame endings. This one is getting so much attention because it's the end of trilogy that lets your decisions carry over with your character. Some people are mad because the ending is locked in, like you only get the one no matter what you choose. I think that's silly but that's just my opinion. Also some people are all upset because they included multiplayer(which is awesome btw). So some people are judging the entire game based on a mode they never have to play. It's pretty annoying.

@DN- Like I said to steven it's all about the ending and the addition of multiplayer. It's beyond stupid for Amazon to offer refunds on open games when there's nothing actually wrong with the game itself. I know lots of people beat the game within a day or two of release, now they can get their money back even if they liked the game.

Yeah now that's the kind of thing that belongs in here. Capcom tried to screw over it's customers again and people caught it right away. It's sad that most people bought the game anyways though. When I tried to talk about this on Xbox.com the fanboys got all defensive about it, morons.

SH posted about Capcom putting characters on the disc that they will later charge for AND lying about it to customers. You posted about people unhappy with the ending of a game so they're gonna return it after playing all the way through it. Totally different.

So does this mean you were posting that because you're happy the game is getting negative feedback even though you never played it or really cared about it until now?

Not to rag on you but the circumstances are pretty different.

People were unsatisfied with a product (ME3) and ask for a refund in exchange for returning the product

vs.

People not wanting to pay for content on physical media they bought and own.

Mass Effect 3 also has day 1, on disc DLC, witch is also a part of their complaints, for frig sakes cut me some slack guys.

The day 1 DLC is the part included in the collectors edition, not the same as other day one DLC that is just to gouge customers. Collectors editions always get more stuff, I'm glad they did this so I could get it, the CE was sold out.

The Capcom thing is perfectly suited to this topic imo. Capcom sold the game with 12 characters locked out but completely done. They're going to charge 20 bucks to unlock them making it an 80 dollar game if you want the complete set. A hacker found a way to unlock them and play them online and embarassed Capcom. Before that Capcom tried to pretend they were just incomplete placeholders or some other such nonsense but then some people unlocked them and found out they're completely done. This is a good thing because it brings this scam to the front of the gaming news and makes people mad at Capcom for doing it.
