Re: Steam, its games and our players.
So I am a level 3 engineer in Guns of Icarus and I picked up a little trick.
When using the buffing hammer, you can buff all the way until one hit would set the buff again and it won't diminish. So you can buff a gun, then build the meter again so you can instantly buff it again once the first wears off. You can keep 2 guns buffed constantly if they are close together and nothing else needs fixing.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
Yeah that's what a good engineer should be doing if they bring the buff. I usually keep all the gear one hit away from full buff but I worry about the balloon and hull first, guns last. Unless it's a Goldfish then I buff the gun a lot since it's so important.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I had the worst set possible in randomizer once.
As the spy, I had a Machina, Chargin Targe, Wrap Assassin, and Cloak and
Dagger. Thing was, as bad as those are already, they all activated with
right click so I'd charge, cloak and scope at the same time. I had to time
my right click repeatedly to actually scope with the machina.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
I wish you could see the gun layout of the captains ship before the match starts. It's so annoying to get launched into a game on a ship with no chance of winning because the weapon selection sucks.

Not a ton, but enough to know I like it. And I believe I have all DLCs unless there's a new one I don't know about.

Re: Steam, its games and our players.
@BH- You can. Click on the name of the ship in the game lobby and it'll bring it up in detail for you. You should also be able to check what the captain is carrying.
@Krendall- There's a bunch of DLC but the big ones are what matters. Gods and Kings and Brave New World. Those alter the gameplay a lot.

Yeah, I have both of those. Haven't really tried out Brave New World yet, though.
