I will second that. Absurdity is only amusing in a real life setting. In a fantasy setting it just comes off as cheap and sad.

I not only don't like Will Farrell but I think he deserves to be on the Disney channel as a host or something - he's that bad.

By today's standards, a lot of the older TV shows like Star Trek: TNG seem very strange.
I am saying this as a ST: TNG fan who was glued to the screen waiting to see the next episode during its day, so you know.

I read somewhere that the failure of the Star Trek 'universe' was that the main characters were too good to be true.
Too virtuous, too righteous, just too darned GOOD.
People like some BAD and even UGLY to balance things out; at least that's my take on it.
Even these lovely ladies weren't enough to save it though...

-1 why do you not recommend the Beatles? They had one of the best songwriting duos and gave the world John Lennon.

I do not recommend watching the live action The Tick movie. it was ridiculous.

John Lennon was fine, Paul McCartney was fine, I just don't care for them as a group. Their sound just plain doesn't work for me.
