As of Dec 10 you get a snow globe card when you craft a badge. The speculation is that it will have some role in the xmas sale. If you got cards and any motivation this would be the time to do it since the sale should be within a week, I think.

Go to your profile page and click on badges. It will tell you how many more cards you need for a set. Once you get them go back to the badges screen and a blue crafting button will appear.

I want more cards before the xmas sale. If you have eligible games I'll trade you TF2 items/cards if you'll idle them and give me the cards. You only have to sit at the title screen for a while. If you have cards sitting in your inventory and you don't care about them I will take them off your hands. One way or another I want to get them asap. Help a bro out.

Xmas/Winter sale started today. Go vote for the flash sale every 8 hours. If you do it gives you a snowglobe card. If you get 10 you can make them into a badge that gives you a random in game item(check the faq for more info). If you don't make 10 or don't care please be kind and hook me up I want them badly. I will trade for them. I'll even beg if you want me to.

Gentlemen, Smissmas 2013 is upon us and Valve has given us goodies.

Every Player who logs in receives a TF2 Stocking that contains a backpack
expander, name tag, description tag, and a Mann Up Ticket for MvM.

They added a bunch of hats and miscs, but did not add a single weapon to
the game, meaning TF2 will go for the first time in its history a year
without a new weapon. But, these new hats can be unboxed from the Nice
Winter Crate.

Hats and Miscs are now "Cosmetic Items" Meaning you can choose to wear 3
miscs or 1 hat and 2 miscs if you wish.

They added a bunch of festives in the Naughty Winter Crate:
-Flare gun
-Crossbow
-Gloves of Running Urgently
-Eyelander
-Force-a-Nature
-Black Box
-Jarate
-Sapper
-Wrangler

Trade.TF - TF2 Items Updates

I think the Flare Gun looks terrible.

Overall, I did not like this update.

BUT, we all get free tickets to play Mann Up in MvM!
So we can get together for a couple of rounds.

The big spike in the center is Left 4 Dead 2 going free on the 25th.
That's right-- almost 500 gigabytes of data a second being served across the internet worldwide.

On my third snowglobe badge I got a skin for Realm of the Mad God, only 800 were crafted at that point, sold for 3.50 on the market place within a couple minutes.

You guys should give out your Snowglobe cards if you don't plan on crafting any badges in the next couple days. Otherwise they will go to waste. I want them of course but I think SJB does too if you would rather give them to someone else.
