You come across as one of the younger members of the site to me, in fact I can divide the whole site into 2 groups, young and old, without knowing anyone's actual age. There are a few people that straddle the line though, Seahawk, Joz, and tails come to mind as in-betweeners.
I suppose it's pretty obvious if you read a lot of posts.

Me an "in betweener?" Young at heart perhaps, but I don't think I talk like a kid. Perhaps you should read more posts Steven.

@Joz- wow man I thought we were cool? Comparing me to comic book guy is harsh. Would it surprise you to know that I've never bought or owned a comic book?

We are cool DB. I only pick on you because I like you. Besides, I know you can take a joke. I just think that you're similar in the way that both of you are always on the computer posting blogs and opinions. I am surprised you've never bought or owned a comic...I thought you probably did.

Re: Cartoon Personalities
It's simple really, there are 2 distinct groups of people on R.U. the older crowd and the younger crowd. Both of these crowds tend to certain topics, not exclusively but generally.
Then there are people who go between the topics evenly, these are the in-betweeners.
I may be wrong in my perception, but it's the way I see it. There is nothing wrong with being in any of the categories so don't take offense.

Re: Cartoon Personalities
@Joz- I've never posted a blog in my entire life but yeah I'm on the internet a lot. As for comic books I've read plenty but never felt they were worth buying. I'm more of a video game/sci fi geek, imo.
@steven- I know I'm old but am I an inbetweener?

@steven- I know I'm old but am I an inbetweener?

No, your part of very exclusive group, your a quester. But as far as old/young/tween, although you do post all over the place, your actual age and stubbornness would place you into the old crowd. This really isn't about where people specifically post, that factor just has a big role in my perception.
Surly other people know what I mean by these made up categories?

I do the same thing. In my mind members are either peers or kids.

Yes, and I've done a similar thing myself.
It actually makes sense, it helps to understand the posts better if you have some simplistic understanding of the personality of the user, or at least an understanding of the façade they are showing us online.

Could you explain that a little more?
My mind puts people into groups but only because of certain details. Like Tenser, steven and several others are the old EVG people. Tails, Oasis, Davidman, MJ are lumped together because they posted a lot back when the site was full of tumbleweeds, I got no name for them though. Everyone else is a new person until they make an impression on me. It sounds stupid when I say it out loud(or type it) but it is what it is.

Re: Cartoon Personalities
So far as the grouping thing goes:
Ghosts - Not around frequently, I often forget about them until they post again.
Children - Newer members, haven't made much of an impression.
Peers - Have made in impression on me and I almost feel like I know them, I'd likely trust them in reality.
Others - Been around a while, haven't made an impression on me, post somewhat frequently, but I just don't know about them at all.
