I've always been a Neo Geo myself (though I like Street Fighter too), so a King of Fighters/Fatal Fury movie seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately, they are making one and they are cutting out the Bogards completely, but left Mai Shiranui in. It makes me very angry. At least the Fatal Fury Animes were fun.

Yeah it's a pretty safe bet that any movie made from source material will fail 99% of the time.

i have just seen the vega/chunli fight and iam still wondering the same ( i was thinking the same when i see the 1994 one... but not only that movies has this ``problem´´ i guess)

why in all street fighter movies vega is interpreted by a latin ( no ofense)
but we are not latins we are spanish xD we even not look like a latin ( they have darker skin and factions are quite diferent) i mean its so hard to find some not latin to do vegas role? ( vega is blond )

but this happends in almost all fight films i see ( the only excepcion was blood spot paco was interpreted by a sudafrican XD )
i dont really care but i just dont get the point why all american directors think that spanish are latin`s? i mean i just like a spanish makes a fighting movie and takes a blond big fat as american

In that clip I couldn't tell if Vega was Asian, Latino or Native American. I was gonna look up the actor but the movie is so lame I lost interest.

It sounds like you're from Spain, most Americans lump you guys in with everyone of Latino background. It's not meant as offensive really, it's just ignorance.

i dont think its ignorance at all i think that we havent open to the rest of the world ( iam refering to our culture)
we are stuck in `` paella, bull fights, ole ole flamenco bonito ,tortilla de patata´´ XD
i think its just time that our culture goes to rest of world, but true is that videogames its a good mirror for us ( as i said japanese people think that we go every were riding a horse and whit a flamenco suit, i know that because i asked that to a japanese pal XD)
just ask to every one what thinks about spain XD

Trust me Neko, some Americans are just ignorant. They don't care what country you're from, to them you're just spanish.
Of course a lot of countries have these same issues. I've heard some people from Spain treat other latino people poorly and lump them together(Puerto Ricans with Cubas, ect). Not saying you personally but I've heard about it from my spanish friends.

yea its sad but its true ( they say all inmigrants come to spain just to steal that really pisses me off) i guess ignorants are all around the world xD
