I think worst game ever is relative because people may take a game (that's still BAD) from a genre they don't enjoy,and though it isn't the WORST game ever, it's pretty bad. I'm gonna make my candidates from each genre I play.

Fighting=Ballz(genesis)

Platformer= The Bubsy series

Adventure= Wand of Gamelon

2d shooter= Underwater attack

3d shooter= Galaga: Destination Earth

Sports/leisure= elf bowling 1 and 2

RPG= Falling Stars

Virtual Pinball= the gamegear version of Sonic Spinball

FPS= Civil War: Secret missions

I think the main thing for me is that the levels look so much alike that I got really sick of looking at them. I will say the ending of the game was decent, though. Maybe the fact that I played it all over one weekend was to blame too, but I seriously haven't played it since 1990. I have considered checking it out here, but I still have the images etched into my mind! Arghhh!

I don't know if anybody else has played this game, but Ghostbusters on the Nintendo Entertainment system was pretty crap. You have to buy all of your equipment at the beginning. Which doesn't make sense because in the movie Egon makes the proton beams and the traps. The graphics are very grey and boring. The part of the game where you have to walk up the stairs by button mashing the A button is tedious as hell. The only good part in the entire game is when you battle the last boss. The when you beat the game it has a worst ending than 1942.

You have just finished a great game.

There is more but I can't remember. Overall Ghostbusters is one of the worst movie games and overall worst game of all time. Thats right, more than E.T.

FPS= Civil War: Secret missions

Not sure if that's in the same series as "Civil War: A Nation Divided," but if it is, it's not only bad, it's SERIOUSLY jacked up historically. Another fine production with the History Channel's seal of approval.

Maybe I'm alone in my feeling, but I just remember going through level after level of stages that looked exactly the same, and then walking down ugly corridors in the boss stages. Maybe I will muster the courage to play it again one day and will enjoye it. I kind of doubt that though.

I've gotta say that Home Alone (NES) was tough, but fun, until you realize it's A: 30 minutes long and B: You get one screen of a victory. That was pure waste.
I'd say the worst game I played was Doug's Big Game (GBC); it was WAAAAYYY too easy and short. Such a waste.

FFX was a great game, what are you talking about?

FF7 improved in a lot of aspects, but felt lacking in the most important places. I don't think it was a bad game, I just don't think that it's worthy of being so popular. Many fan boys haven't played the actual game though.
