Black friday should be outlawed. That woman with the tazer should go to jail, no excuse for that behavior. People can die from being shocked. If I was the lady in red I'd be suing her for assault and reckless endangerment. She should probably be also charged with endangering her kid if that stroller was hers and had a kid in it.

It shouldn't be outlawed. Such people should simply learn that such behaviour is immoral and uncivilized. I agree that some people exaggerate that day's importance, but excessive regulation isn't the answer (although litigation might be).

The biggest surprise of this is how Canada now has Black Friday.

We do? We have "Boxing Day", witch I always thought was the equivalent. Regardless, I don't think we go quite as bananas as the U.S. To me, it's just always been the day that I can spend any Christmas money on vidya.
