The movies were good, but the worst was 10 the best were probably 2, 3, and 11. BTW, theres a 12th one coming out in Japan called "Shaymin and the Bouquet of the Icey Sky." It's about Shaymin, Giratina, Regigigas, and Dialga.

Pokemon movies? I've only wactched the first and second season and first movie. I'm only familiar with the kanto and Johnto Region.

Johto was my personal favorite, and my favorite movie was 3, but I think Darkrai will be my favorite after I watch that.

I've seen all 11 of the movies. And watched only the first five seasons. And I loved the first one the best. The second one was good but not as good of the first. The third was great. Pokemon 4ever was a pretty good movie as well. I did not like the movies from the newer seasons. Those where pretty awful. I watched them because I needed to see all of them. Even tho I disliked the seasons they where based off of. So I will watch the 12th movie when it comes here. That Darkrai Movie was decent. Not the best out there. The voice actor who did Brock sounded awful. The new voice actors for Pokemon are awful and they do a horrible job on them.

you know what would make an awesome movie? Clock Tower the First Fear. there really is no way to ruin something like that, the plot is simple, a family of satanists adopt a group of four teenage girl orphans so they can hunt down and kill them in their Hell possessed mansion for fun. oh yeah, and there's a little deformed boy in a school uniform and with a pair giant scissors ready to kill them at every turn.

You know, if they really wanted to make some good video game movies all they'd have to do is take a RPG and use that story. I've played so many RPGs were I thought to myself "this would make an awesome movie".
The only problem is the people who make movies hate using all the source material. For some reason they just wanna change stuff, even if they ruin it.

I dont mind them, just as long as theyre based on good games. The MGS movie will kick ass, the bioshock movie will probably be pretty good, and a god of war movie would be off the hook. Half life would make an outstanding film series aswell.

Well if you think about it, it depends, many game makers have announced movies to be made in line with the game's story.
Pokemon (which is upseting because i don't like pokemon) is the most successful of all of them. Metal Gear Solid has a planed movie (yes planed as said by Hideo Kojima) and it might be good because the game is like playing in a movie while Halo might be the opposite because the whole storyline is based on fighting your way in, then fighting your way out and also (strangly enough) I've read a DDR (yes DDR) movie is in creation (don't ask me the plot because I don't know, but yes it's coming out) and that is something to critisize later on.

I liked some of them. They aren't epic, well written masterpieces but I liked some none the less.

About the Prince of Persia movie...
It will have Jake Gyllenhaal as the main character so I'm guessing it will suck badly. But then again it has Ben Kingsley so it might be awesome. I'm torn.

i see from the opinions on the posts that they can be good but most often not but it realy depends on the game, i think that just about sums it up, aggred?
