First I've never liked Sonic or Mario and don't care what Nintendo is or is not doing to them.

Second, Dudebro, Nintendo did not make better games, Nintendo had an illegal monopoly on third party developers that hurt Sega to the point that they couldn't compete. The third party developers made better games than Nintendo or Sega made and Nintendo forced them to make them only for Nintendo.`

but what Kong said is right on the money nintendo really did force everyone to make games for them but that is part of the teritory

We've had this arguement before. By calling it an illegal monopoly you're making it out more than it was. Simplified, all it was is if you wanted to make games for a Nintendo system you were not allowed to make the same game for another system as well.

The reason why Nintendo won the 8-bit war? You claim third-party developers but a LOT of it had to do with first-party development. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby and Donkey Kong say hello.

I wasn't saying it was fair Kong, it's just what happened. I worded it wrong I guess. By forcing out Sega, Nintendo got to release most the good third party games. So Nintendo wins, Sega loses. I actually liked alot of Sega games and I owned a couple of their systems. But Nintendo always seemed to have more quality games so I bought more for that system. I was sad to see Sega fold it's console production. It was part of my childhood.

Alright, why does everyone here have to keep bringing up a subject that nobody gives a damn about?! Just shut up and let people live their lives. I see this every day, someone says something, and a few posts later, some other guy shoots back and looks for a fight. Seriously if someone's being a jerk, forget about it, don't make a whole post to tell someone you're your own person.
