I appreciate how handy cars and trucks are, but am opposed to car manufacturers' reluctance to get away from oil and gas.
I'm certain that most vehicle owners feel the same way {especially since gas is supposed to go up to 7 dollars a gallon in the U.S., and around 2 dollars a liter or more in Canada, all thanks to the BP oil spill}

Electric cars would be better anyhow because of the torque electric motors can produce.

2001 toyota tacoma 4x4, reg. cab. I have put a 100k + miles on her since I got her...the only problem I have had with her is when some punk stole my catallitc convertor three years ago. i'll keep my baby for at least another 100k...or kids, whatever happens last.
