He might have done that in UMK3 I haven't played that one much, but I can say that starting in MKII, Dan Forden (the toasty guy) would appear and say toasty. If you hit the right buttons you would go and fight Chameleon or Jade I think.

I have never heard the "frosty", so it must be in a version I haven't played.

chameleon wasnt in 2 it was smoke, you got jade by winning the fight before the question mark using only low kicks i think

Right you are. It was Smoke. I haven't played that in awhile.

Anyone who has played Eternal Darkness (Nintendo Gamecube only, too bad) will tell you how strange and freaky that game is, not just because of the 'normal' game content, but because of what they call sanity effects.

Your game character (you have several over the course of the game, in different times and places) has a sanity meter, which dictates how much of this strange stuff you will see.

The more frightened your character becomes by the monsters in the game, the lower the sanity meter gets and the effect is that of simulated insanity not only for your character, but also for you, the player.

Some examples include:

The screen goes totally black with VIDEO in green letters in the top right corner.
Suddenly an apparent 'corrupt data' message about your last game save appears on the screen, looking VERY authentic,
and if that isn't an 'OMG moment' then I don't know what,
(oh yes it is upsetting the first time you see it, before you realize the game is just playing with your head)
or
Your character walks into the 'next' room and falls to pieces, literally, for no apparent reason.
(not that you stay dead in those cases)

It is one of my favorite games and were my English good enough perhaps I could write a review about it.
I highly recommend Eternal Darkness.

Biggest OMG moment in gaming for me was finding out the leader of Team Rocket was also the 8th Badge Gym Leader.

Oh come on, I was seven years old and I saw that one coming.

Funny thing is, my brother was 13 and he bet me my only 5 bucks that I was wrong. It was a good day to be the little bro. Although, he got it back when he bet me he'd catch a mew. I never won a poke battle to him after that
