Re: Personal Best/Worst Games Ever List
@Gamefreak and Tenser: You guys still haven't given me any reasons as to why the Madden Games are actually bad, other than that they rerelease them every year and that they are expensive. Those are reasons not to buy the games but what about the game itself makes you not want to play it
Oh and starfoxfan, why did you think Simpsons Hit and run was such a bad game?

I'm not getting what you want from me. I stated that I don't like EA games. I was asked to explain my opinion, to which I did.
Hey TNT, I understand you don't like stabbing yourself in the eye. Besides the pain and blindness, why don't you like stabbing yourself in the eye?

Re: Personal Best/Worst Games Ever List
Not to stick up for Madden too much, but I don't understand the Madden hate either. I compare to dudes that go see like Superman Returns and leave and are like "Dude, that movie was lame. I hate it when it's just like there's Superman and then a bad guy and he fights him and then he almost loses but he wins." So...you don't like superhero movies clearly, cause that's what they are.
And yeah yeah yeah Dark Knight whatever. But if you don't want to see a superhero fight a bad guy and almost lose but then when you probably shouldn't be watching superhero movies. Dark Knight is football games' Blitz.
So if you want a football game, Madden is a really good one. Most people that hate it seem to just not like football games, and if that's the case than your opinion doesn't really matter. You don't like football games, of course you don't like Madden.

Re: Personal Best/Worst Games Ever List
Couple of things people seem to be forgetting.
1. You don't have to buy a new madden game every year. I Have 08 and I won't be buying a new one for a few years(unless there's a really good reason).
2. You can save The Sims at any time. The game is only as long as you make it.
I will admit that it's just a babysitting game when you really think about it and after a while it becomes a chore.
Tenser I agree for the most part about EA. They seem like they don't care about the games they release.
@StarFoxFan2009, why just NBA live 97? Pretty wierd to pick just one year out of all of them.
@Ninjatiamat, Ogre Battle64 and not the first one or Tactics? I liked the 64 one but it wasn't really on the same level with the others.
I forget if I've asked before but have you played those two?

Sorry, I had to delete all that super hero garbage that I glossed over.
Anyways, I don't hate Madden. I just don't like EA because I think its a slimey move to repackage the same game every year and try and shove it down their fans' throats. The only reason my opinion was given is because it was asked for. Should I have just ignored them when they asked why I don't like EA games?
Question for those with a newer version of Madden. Is it possible to completely tweak every player and team to resemble the next season? I remember doing that with Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball on the SNES every year between baseball seasons. It was limited but fun.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you could tweak it with created characters. Honestly I really don't care who's on the teams. I just play it for fun.
What they really should do is just release a new madden every five years or so. Maybe once per new console. Then just let people d/l new rosters for free. Never happen but it's the best idea imo.
Btw TMT is just saying if you go into something thinking you'll hate it then you will hate it. Just in case you missed it.

do you mean the PS3/X-Box Sonic the Hedghehog, the awful GBA port of Sonic the Hedgehog, or the amazing genesis/master-system sonic.

I enjoyed the rest of them, it's just that i couldn't get into NBA Live '97.
As for the other question, I felt that it was pointless just running around doing missions or kicking them, which is what The Simpsons: Hit and Rund does.
