Are you asking if TMNT was a movie first? If so, no it was a comic first, then a TV show then they made a movie or two or three that may or may not of had a white rapper.

not at all, i am fully aware it was a comic, then tv show.

I ment was TMNT 1 one of the first games to be based on a movie.

btw Vanilla Ice's Ninja Rap in TMNT 2 was great.

theres 4 movies.

TMNT 1 (as ya know game is based off of this)

TMNT 2 secret of the ooze (Vanilla Ice's Ninja Rap) Tokka and Rahzar appear in this, same with Super Shredder. (makes me wonder if TMNT 3: TMP is slightly based off of this)

TMNT 3 was a load of crap, turtles go in time by a lamp, gotta save feudal japan, no recognizable villians in this

TMNT 4 (2007) or just TMNT is based on the newer ninja turtles that i hate (Shredder is dead and a girl who wasnt even part of the orginal series runs the foot they arnt even the bad guys in this) it was ok, but protrayed Raphael as Gangsta.

if i would rate these it would be:

TMNT 1
TMNT 2
TMNT 4
TMNT 3

also with what Kirai said (girl who runs the foot) about past coming back, looks like a TMNT 5 will come out soon. just hope its better, and goes back to puppets.

No I'm betting they stay with animated TMNT for awhile since it sells better and kids like it, which equals more toys/games sold. Also they get the kids hooked and then they grow up and do the same thing we are doing, being all nostalgic about a Kids TV show. They aren't gonna sell alot of toys if they try to appeal to older people, well some will buy them but they're wierdos


Btw, ever heard of Uwe Boll? He made some Game to Movie stuff and is now so hated for it there's a petition to keep him from doing more adaptations of games. He did Bloodyrane/Alone in the Dark/House of the Dead and a Dungeon Siege movie. Some of the fan reactions are described as Hostile and one reviewer said about a film of his

also i am not afraid to admit it but im turning my room into gaming everything, i still got Nintendo beanies from my child hood, Megaman action figures (NT warrior sadly) mario toys, Sonic toys and other stuff in my room. i am also going to get a branfd new Megaman Zero action figure to put on a shelf for collector's value, i also found nice link plushie too, i got tons of posts from nintendo power, now all i need is to finally get my room xP

I think the problem with game based movies is when they try to make the game a movie

the wrighters/directors/screen plays dont talk with the people that acctually made the game
so the movie has a completely different feel to it than the game did

the best example I can come up with this is Nightmare on elm street that movie has like 5 different directors making sequils and prequils yet each movie has a completely different look and feel and even storyline.
in some of the movies freddy krugar is a man who has been severly burned. in I think the 6th movie they made him a alian.

I think the movie company should include the game creator in the making of the movie so it does have the right feel to it, if its up to the creator of the game's standards it should be better.

They shouldnt be made this way:

• film company pays money for movie rights for game,
• film company never speaks to game company again,
• an awful movie with absolutley nothing to do with the game gets made,
• angry game fans go home and post their veiws on RU :P

I know the Transformers movie was based off an other movie, and it was pretty good, and it looked realy nice too. But there were problems with the charecters' personalitys. The Autobots were portrayed as trigger happy simpletons. The original Transformers were a race of super intellegent beings.

You should do what I do when I don't know how to spell something, type it into google and see if it comes up. Or Dictionary.com works too but I prefer google for the random stuff it finds when I type in random words. Really not trying to mess with you just trying to help.

A Transformers movie did seemed good idea... on paper. Cars that turn to robots... ON THE BIG SCREEN! But in the end, I hated the Transformers designs. It's like watching a bunch of scrapheaps moving around, fighting each other.

I'm a Transformers collecter so I collect all different types of Transformers toys, but when I saw the movie figures at the store, I was truely disappointed and never bothered to get a single one. I never even bothered to watch the movie. A big disappoint.

Wow, there is an other....Yeah, I colloect the figures too, so when the movie came out I was eager to see it, and I've gotta be honest the grafics were pretty nice, and I was impressed that they kept that tention between Starscream and Megatron, but other then that I was kinda let down.
