Just thought I would check in and see how the site is doing.

Last year threw me a curveball right at the beginning of it with a concussion and a doctor telling me no screen time for awhile which meant no video games either.

Needless to say that put a damper on my year.

I still get headaches from it now and again, but at least I am able to play games again when I can. Of course that means I don't play so well anymore.

My family is now looking after 5 Foster kids so our house is very busy these days. Two sets of sisters and 19 month old have kept us quite busy.

Anyway just an update for anyone who is interested.

I got the concussion in a stupid way.

We were watching our Sister-In-Laws German Shepard Great Dane cross dog and I was on my way back from taking it out for a walk / bathroom break. As we walked around the side of my house the dog suddenly lunged forward at something pulling me forward and there is this mesh cage surrounding a electric meter right at head height which I bashed my head into.

It knocked me mostly senseless and my head was bleeding profusely. I somehow managed to stumble the rest of the way around to the front of the house and through the front door. I called out to my wife who made me sit down on the stairs. The next thing I remembered was the paramedics waking me up to take me to the ambulance.

At least the mesh cage had a nice big dent in it.

How's Brother Thunderlips? I saw him lurking on here the other day send him my best.

I know you probably won't have time but Wolf has a great Tournament just around the corner. Some of the best Arcade players in the world involved, I'm well out of my depth but it's good fun to compete and moan at Wolf at the same time.

Hey Bud,

The head is a lot better now than it used to be though I still get headaches now and again.

The wife and I really do enjoy the fostering and love the kids even though it leaves not very much free time. We are finding that the government agencies running it are very lacking though.

Thunderlips is well however he is really busy these days. He is the Coach for all three of his kids Baseball and Football (Soccer for North Americans) teams.

I wish I could compete in such a competition but both time and game rust would keep me out.
