That list has just been finished. I removed all games that glitched while loading or required the ability to read a lot of kanji to play. I would guess about 60% were removed.

Three new (to this site) NES games were submitted to Kong. All three were originally removed because of foreign language issues that have now been remedied.

Elysion is a RPG/Eastern game that was in Japanese. I'm looking forward to playing this one myself.

Storehouse No. 18 is a Strategy/Puzzle game that came out on the Russian Famicom clone, the Dandy. It reminds me a lot like Boxxle for the GB.

Youkai Club is a Platform/Standard that required you to read Japanese kanji. It looks like a combination of SMB1 and Castlevania.

Look forward to some "overhaul" hacks soon. Overhaul hacks are when the game has been completely altered and features new areas, a new plot, and such so that it resembles the original game very little. Including a couple for Mega Man for Tails.

I know that i can't save, I still wish to play it, the origional Super Mario Land can't save.

And also shouldn't Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Game and Watch Gallery 4 be added despite the fact they are GBA games?
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit has all the tracks from Super Mario Kart and similar game play
- Game and Watch Gallery 4 becasue it's a collection of Game and Watch games.

Super Mario Land for GameBoy is up and running fine.
Super Mario Land 2 for GameBoy had other issues besides the save feature not working, hence why it is not here.

The boss fights are incredibly hyperactive. Players find this hack a clear winner. Background Music is made by the author of Rockman No Constancy IKA. Additional patches were added by Misty in the Japanese 2ch boards about August 8th such as Hard Body and Weapon Modification. A must play for all expert Mega Man II players.

Final Fantasy - Dragoon X Omega II
A full scale hack of Final Fantasy, nothing remains but the core programming routines. It features all new graphics, music, levels, enemies, text, statistics and more. Think of it as a “Total Conversion” for the NES.

I did not create the translations nor overhauls. I merely found patches and applied them to the appropriate roms.

The only two languages I'm capable of are English and French. I do speak a smattering of Japanese (equivelant to how a two year-old speaks) but I can not read kanji.

What system?

After some healthy digging I got a large group of Famicom translations coming down the pipeline. There will be a whopping total of 74 translations I'm hoping to start work on by Wednesday. This should result in the largest update to the NES section since "lite mode" was made available.

Included in this update will hopefully be a bunch of RPGs, a Technos game, a couple DBZ games, the sequels to some games already here, and a never released in America Mega Man game.
