Actually ..
There was some lag and then I got kicked off.

Last night the map was playing quite smoothly when we were fighting those Pirates, right?
So it seems there is an intermittent problem which I believe is solely related to the fact the pack is based on 1.5.2.

Sever is down for 6-7 hours. I got a technician coming out to upgrade my speed and fix the upload issue. Also the server will be upgraded to 1.7.2 with my list of mods I posted earlier. Also it won't be called Dravocraft any more. It's now called Drahexxy.

The server was working good for me last night until around 1:30 am when it kicked me and I couldn't rejoin. I went to bed though so I'm not sure how long it lasted.

It seems like spawn was rolled back a couple days ago when the game was laggy. Was that issue caused by anyone? If so I'd like to know because they caused me to lose items and a chocobo when my house disappeared.

@DN- Come join the server bro.

@Cam - I stole a chocobo from in front of your house. I'll pay you back with a colored chocobo of your choice. No golds though yet sorry.

2. I logged in and started falling through the world. It fixed itself quickly though.
3. I found this horrific creature in front of Cams house, I think it came from a ruined tower. I back pedaled to take this screenshot and fell in some water. I panicked at first but then it just disappeared.
4. First blue born. He died soon after in a tragic accident.
5. First green. No issues.

None of your mods you mentioned are updated for 1.7.2. We're trying to get as far away from out dated server files as possible.

1.7.2 is the most stable right now, and runs on Java 7, instead of Java 6. So it has some major performance gains for all those that play.

All the benefits out weight the losses in the long run.

I tried pasting that into the add mods thing in the hexxit browser but when I hit play nothing happens. So is this a map reset or what?


Edit, I figured out I have to choose the new name. But now when I go to join the server it says can't resolve host name. Did I do something wrong like not delete the other mod pack or do I need a new server address?

No I said the server would be down for 5-6 hours last night. It's about to be up on 1.7.2. And yes it has to be a new map.

I gotta admit I'm annoyed at losing what I've been working on. I might wait to see if this sticks around before I waste any more time building stuff. You guys having lag/connection issues should jump on and stress test it asap so we know.

I don't have anyone to stress test with. But this will stick around for a long time. I'm adding mo'ores, and fixing some ID issues.

Oh? A lot of mods alter world gen though. Things like adding specific ores and such.

Might wait it out too. I'm all for new mods, I'm just being booked like every day, and double booked for work. Might just stick with another game for the time being. Want to know my stuff's going to stay as is for at least a good chunk of months or so. That's all.

I'm getting the 'Can't resolve host name' message too.

I deleted the old Dravocraft files both from inside the .technic folder and from the Technic Tekkit launcher menu.
I've tried different combos, capitalized, everything else I could think of.
What's wrong here?

So I tried Singleplayer and noticed some conflict making the minimap in the top right corner appear as a white square {hard on my old eyes, no way I could go caving with it on}, anyone else getting that effect?
By the way, the ' ; ' key now brings up the minimap menu instead of 'm' .

Joe you might have to disable the minimap. I'll see if I can fix the issue! And I apologize. I've had internet issues all day.

Okay all issues are now fixed. I fixed the pack as well. It may ask to update Drahexxy in Technic Launcher.

But all issues are now resolved. I apologize. I was catching up on my Z's while my son while sleeping.

No apology needed as far as I'm concerned, Mykeh you've gone above and beyond to keep this server going lately.

I've been testing in Singleplayer and so far, so good.
Sad to see the animals go in a way but these new plants and trees are just as nice.
