It seems that study is bullshit(what a surprise) and the author is basing it on some weird racist agenda.

If it was a legit study I'd like to know how they managed to collect reliable data from a place like the Congo. It's a war torn, corrupt and unstable country so I seriously doubt any data gathered there is trustworthy.

I'm certainly no expert but I don't believe rigor applies to penises. It applies to muscle groups and, I believe, the penis has no muscles. The only death erections that I've heard of are specifically from hanging deaths and that's because of brain damage.
