I think the general consensus is an xbox 360 controller from Amazon. Not wireless.

True. I use a regular old Xbox 360 (with cord), and it works just fine in ArcadeOx. I don't even have to use any special software with that controller, though many people seem to have success with Xpadder and Pinnacle if they use other controllers.

I haven't tried that myself, but it might work. If it doesn't recognize it automatically, a program like Xpadder or Pinnacle would probably make it work with the proviso that it is on a cord.

I used to use this Logitech wireless controller on RU which was very similar to the design of the PS3 controller.:

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Cordl...pad-Vibration-

It worked fine, but did need another program to make it recognize the controller.

Good point. I guess it was an old link. Here's the one I was talking about:

The dpad on the 360 is terrible, but on the Logitech it's pretty good. It's the 4 D buttons like on the PS2.

I might look into that one then. Seeing the one I have can be a two player controller, I'd like to use the D pad more.
