Tips:
To dock with the refueling ship, line the gunsight up with the pipe and press a button. You get bonus points for doing this.

To shoot down the Flying Fortress, keep it above your plane and fire missiles continuously.

You get extra lives at 5 and 15 million points.

At the Game Over screen, press U+1+2. This works twice, and not after level 8.
If you press Pause 100 times on the title screen, before the demo screen appears, you can continue up to level 17.

Hold Down+Left and you will not die until level 12.
