Hey if you say you acnt get SNES or PS 1/2 emulation, then explain GameTap.

GameTap is not online. They use off-line emulation. You have to download their software and install it and then download the games. When they first came out, a couple years ago, I tired installing the trial version of their program and it crashed my computer

I don't think they offer PS 1 and 2 or SNES emulation either.

and just to add to what Kong said about this I am sure Kong would love to put Snes games on this web site but no one has made a viable working Java Emulator to support those games... yes they do have emulators for snes but not a java coded one...

as long as these games are on im ahppy (I wish you could get buck rogers though that game rox!) (its sad you cant)

OK well how about adding The Legend of Zelda Link to the Past/ Four swords for GBA? I really need sopme new games to play. if not, i can tell you a couple websites to get games.

its not that they cant get games (as far as i know) its more Kong has been really busy with the new site the he has not had time to update the game lists (im assumeing) so give it a little time..

i just wondered, can one of you guys put Metal Slug 3 as a coin-op game on this site? it is my favorite 2D shooter and i would appreciate if it was put on this site.

but probably not in the near future because Kong the Creator is spending most of his time creating a newer faster upgraded retro uprising that he hopes will be done in a few months so he has added to that thread that he is not taking requests right now because he has a lot of new games already that he is putting on the new site so your request may already be on the list.

but after the site update if you dont see Metal Slug 3 for coin op i would ask again at that time.

*edit* am i going crazy or did someone merge these topics ? i thought this was in its own post?
