With the advent of the new site, I thought I would recreate our discussion thread regarding the "Revolution". I mean, what's a video game forum without one? :mariohead:

As of today, 12/22/06, "Revolution" owners can log onto the Shop Channel and download the Beta version of the Opera Web Browser! Unfortunately, the Beta version does not support Cookies, so there will be no posting on forums from your "Revolution"...at least for the time being. :luigi:
On the plus side, you are able to view
YouTube without any problems. These are the only two sites that I've checked so far, since I had to work, but I will test it more once I have the chance.
The Beta version is free to download and Nintendo plans to have the full version available in March 2007. The full version will be free to download until June 2007 when it will increase to an acceptable 500 Points
($5.00).
In addition, for those who hadn't heard or noticed yet, the Forecast Channel is also available now. Get your current and 5-day weather forecasts as well as the ability to check the weather all around the world via an interactive globe!
The only channel left to unviel is the News Channel. Nintendo plans to unwrap the final channel on January 27th. :wario:
