Bard's Tale

Not sure how many of you have the remastered Bard's Tale trilogy. Playing it has been fun, and while the same, it is a bit different from the original. My favorite addition is the mini map. No longer will I be hampered by needing lots of extra time and graph paper. The other thing I like is saving anywhere. Yes, this can lead to abuse, but for me, not having to hike all the way back to the Adventurers Guild just to get off definitely has its perks.

So, either from this remastered version or the original, what do you like as a party formation? Not necessarily the best or optimal, unless that's what you play, but what combinations you have fun throwing together.

For me, I have a male Dwarf Warrior, Grogni (1) to act as a bodyguard for my avatar, TJ the Wolf, a male Human Conjurer (5). Then I have a male Elf Paladin, Fyr Brightleaf (2) and his companion, a female Elf Magician, Mystvale (6). In slots (3) and (4) I have a female Human Hunter, Shanna and a male Human Bard, Talver.

In reserve I have a male Human Monk, Will and a male Gnome Magician, Fizzlebit and a female Half Elf Thief, Lae Shadows. Don't know of I'll use them at all, but they're there in case I want to. The Monk is already level 7, and pretty good at unarmed and unarmored combat.

Names are not my strong suit, but I was happy enough with them.
