The Ultimate Question
Here it is boys:
What if all the video games in the world disappeared except for one, what game would you want that to be? This would be the only game that you could play ever!!!!!
Mine would have to be: Final Fantasy III. I seem to never get tired playing that game.

Re: The Ultimate Question
I would choose umm... Super Smash Bros Brawl, I had to think about it. Pokemon is better if you can trade with other versions, Mario gets boring after a while, F-Zero would be my second choice.

You Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Who would have thought?
But I would say Brawl would be my game of choice too.

Re: The Ultimate Question
Tenser has the right idea. I'd get a collection of games too, I'd get bored with any one game after awhile.

Re: The Ultimate Question
I figured a Namco arcade collection because a lot of those games kept a score and didn't have an ending.

Re: The Ultimate Question
And Namco made some cool games.
I was thinking about it and Steven has a good idea too. Mario Paint lets you draw/paint, make music and play mini games(more than one? All I remember is the fly swatter game). Seems like this would keep you sane longer. Doing nothing but playing Left for Dead for a year or two would drive anyone crazy. Nothing against the game just an example.

That would be important. You don't want the only game you have to have an ending. I would go with a strategy/twitch game. Probably something like Block-Out or De-Block or 3D Tetris.

Sorry about that. I don't see many females on the boards. I'm not sexist I swear. I'm The Doctor so I need female gaming companions backing me up. Ever ride in a TARDIS?

Re: The Ultimate Question
I would totally agree with what Tenser said but I am thinking the Activision Anthology would be a good one. For those curious that is a collection of the Atari 2600 games.

You haven't rode in a TARDIS either, they aren't real, and you're not Doctor Who.

Re: The Ultimate Question
I do like Tenser's idea of a collection. Perhaps that Midway collection I had for gamecube.
NARC
Primal Rage
Mortal Kombat 3
Arch Rivals
Wizard Of Wor
Some gems in there.
If that doesn't count, I think Counter-Strike might be a good choice. Or Call of Duty 4. Games with online play last a lot longer than those without.

Re: The Ultimate Question
I think the new Sega Genesis on 360 sounds pretty good. Although the games mostly have endings there are still a lot of quality gems to choose from.

Damn now I gotta change my choice. For some reason I thought online games were out of the question(I was thinking of the deserted island scenario)
Shadowrun for 360.

Speaking of damn!, that reminds me I still haven't put Shadowrun in the 360 yet. I have been so absorbed in SFIV the last week or so I forgot. Do you play often?

Yeah, but those aren't "a game", those are an emulator with a bunch of ROMS put on a disc. I guess so are the rest of the bundles. But I am assuming homebrew doesn't count.
