Well that kind of kills a job option. Not necessarily a company I like, but if I do go to gaming school, it would have been an option afterwards.

I don't know if it still exists but when I was a teenager Nintendo had a trade school/college in Canada. I considered going. I think lack of money was the only reason I did not. It was supposed to be super intense like 12 hours a day, 6 days a week or something like that.

There are plenty of game studios in Canada. I know in Montreal/Quebec there are tons. I dunno if you'd want to work at one though. They grind you into a pulp from what I understand.

Fungus is correct about the gaming industry in Canada, unless you are a far superior employee to the average, the companies just chew you up and spit you out. It's a never ending cycle of new students being pushed to their limits until they crack, and then send them off and bring in new students.
