I think Junior has a really good chance of winning but if the fight ends up on the ground for too long Mir has a big advantage(although Dos Santos is no slouch either). His submissions are top notch and he has great awareness, he only needs one opening. If it stays up the whole time Mir is gonna get beat up.

I feel bad for anyone who has to face Cain Velasquez, he's a beast. Too bad he's not rematching Dos Santos.

Lastly, I hope Roy Nelson gets punched in his fat gut. I don't like him or his mullet.

There was some kid in the audience, and they were trying to play it all up. Vince Russo is one of the guys who used to write for the WWF. Jr fly the kid out to america to watch the fight, and when he won the camera panned over to him and some stage hand was trying to pull him over the barricade and put him in the ring. SUUUPPPPPEEERRRRR lame IMO, putting an angle on the fights makes me feel like Dana thinks I'm an idiot.

"See , people are too stupid to want to just watch the match, so let's take the idea from Rocky where JR is rocky right, he'll come out to the theme, and like he is here for revenge for beating up his trainer. We'll exploit some kid and use him as a plot device and make sure the announcer stresses how straight edge he is before the fight". It's starting to get lame is all I'm saying.

See I didn't catch any of that because I tune out the non fight stuff. I must've got up to get a drink when they showed the kid and the WWF set up. I did see him when JR won but they've done stuff like that before, it's not a big deal imo.

Any prediction for tonights fights? I could see this Maynard/Guida fight going similar to the Maynard/Edgar fights but I'm not sure Guida is as tough as Edgar and I"m thinking Maynard learned something from those epic battles. Maynard in the 2nd by knock out. I don't care enough about the other fights on the card to make predictions.

No way am I forking out any money to watch tomorrow nights fights so I'll be looking for a free stream. I'll pick Franklin over Silva in the main event for no other reason than I've always been a Fraklin fan. I don't even remember who else is on this card so I'll have to go look before making any more predictions.

I'm gonna go with Guida too. I like both but I just think his pace and determination will win. Should be good either way.

Bah. I understand some people don't appreciate what Guida did but I think he wont that easily. Maynard had to struggle for every hit he landed. That one submission was good but Guida breaking out of it like a beast should've proved who's fight it was.
