That was his stage name, he was quite an interesting guy. He would bury his clothes before a concert to get the smell of dead on him. At one point he wanted his band mates to bury him so he could be pale for a concert. He wanted to be a walking corpse.

And yeah that's the original photo taken though not as graphic, he just left a note saying "Sorry about the blood".

According to band mate, Ohlin genuinely didn't enjoy living, not on this planet anyway.
