oh boy haha. The thing with my computer is it's old too, so I can't give the most accurate estimation. I'd honestly say if you're going to invest in more ram, it'd be at least 4-6 GB ram though. 4 should do it I'd say, but 6 definitely can't hurt.
Yeah, partly my problem. While I have 3 gb ram, like 1 gb of that is used to run vista haha. My computer likes to cheat me out of like another 300 mbs too probably.
Oh, you're asking about you running one? Hmm... Shouldn't take too much, I don't remember the exact amount of ram needed, I think it can take as little as 80 mb ram at times, but can easily crank up to 2 gb ram. I have 3 gb ram.
You know, I was just considering this. I was going to make one, however, there was a catch, or a gimmick rather. I've played enough vanilla minecraft, so I'd add like weekly mods to keep it fresh. I don't think I'll be able to do it due to constraints though, if I ran one, it would not be up all the time, and takes up most of my ram at the time, making other things unusable for the moment.
