Welcome Matt, glad you found the site and have decided to play. Guess I can bump my projected finish down another notch. Hope to see you at PRGE tomorrow.
Should we all just give up now or are you going to give us a chance?
Anything's possible right? ;x unfortunately I'm not going to be able to do any damage on the scoreboard here as this version of MAME has failed to recognize all three different pads/joysticks I've tried, and joy2key isn't working with it either for some reason. Guess I'll just stick to making MARP inps.

Did you have Steam open? It can sometimes stop controllers from working with AOX

Weird... I tried that last night when I was looking through other threads for solutions to this problem, and it didn't work then. Now closing it worked. shrug

Not sure how it works if we're playing a game in the tourney that we already have a score on, but I went ahead and submitted a score for Trog. It doesn't beat my score on the scoreboard, but it's good for 1st place in the tourney (for now ), so at least I have a screengrab (and INP?) available.
I accidentally put a 428,690 score on Super Punch-Out that was supposed to be for Fairy Land Story, and I can't restore the 171,200 score for Super Punch-Out in the standings.

Wolf - Thank you once again for being so gracious and using your own money to "sponsor" this tournament. I appreciate all the effort and thought you put into these tournaments.
BBH - if you read this, you can take your foot off the throttle. I am done for the night and I think i need a long break, as i am doing this out of habit than i am enjoyment. With the work-week coming up tomorrow. I just don't have time to put in the effort against a very good player when im working 13-hour days.
If i happen to place second, wolf can you please split my "winnings" with milehighdt and the other for yourself, or you can keep both and use them.
Thanks again and good luck to whoever tries to make a move. With the end of this post, will start my hiatus.

How do I know this isn't a trick :P
j/k, I know exactly where you're coming from. I went in a little too hard on this tournament too and was getting pretty aggravated at times trying to raise these scores. Still, thanks for providing some great competition.
I've only gotten a few games in...gonna try and get a few more in today before it ends, just to get a higher overall score I'm low on my internet usage though, so I'm just recording INP's and submitting them to MARP. I've been putting "Wolf IX Video Armageddon" in the description so they can be found. I'm mostly using 106, but I used 155 for Vanguard since I wanted to use a gamepad type controller so it'd be easier to fire and I can't seem to make it work on 106.
I put up a 54231 for Stocker, but I used wolfmame 106, so it's not on here. It also didn't beat my score at MARP (I had 54234 there), so I'll just upload it here, since it's small. That way there's no doubt
Here's a couple more (both done on Wolfmame 106), since I already have higher scores at MARP (unless I beat them in the last 1/2 hour, which is doubtful)
Super Punch Out: 3160
Magical Crystals: 116567
OK, sorry to spread all my scores around, so to finish, 3 are posted on this thread (Stocker, Super Punch Out and Magical Crystals), 1 was done here at RU (Trog), and the rest are uploaded to MARP with "Wolf IX Video Armageddon" in the description (as I already mentioned). If I had better internet, I'd probably done them all here.
And congrats to the top 3, BBH, TiF and Barra...awesome scores!
great job bbh, tif, and barra for being the top 3 and to all the other players, thanks to steam i forgot about the contest lol i still have to do some work to figure out the bounties
