FF6 Opera Scene - FF11 Style!

In talking about Final Fantasy VI in joeguy300's welcome thread, I decided to do a Google search on the subject and see if anything neat caught my eye. Let's just say I found more than I anticipated. :mrgreen:

As it turns out, a Linkshell on Final Fantasy XI (that game's term for a Guild) decided to get together and recreate the Opera Scene from FF6 inside the FF11 game world. What follows is the fruits of their labor, and what amazing fruit it is!

The thing was near spotless.

I noticed they left out Celes memorizing the lines and Maria's dance with Draco's ghost. The first most likely cause there was no need, the later most likely due to game mechanic limitations.

My only two complaints were the battles with the SewerRat/Vermins were a bit too long and I wish they had gone up to the two-headed coin-flip.

They did a truly amazing job. I can't believe they were capable of reproducing so many details. Major props to them.

The sewer rat fights were a bit drawn out, that is true. Other than that, and the points you mentioned, it is as close to flawless as you could imagine. I had no idea you could do such a thing with FF11.
