You must reasonably prove that you, yourself are able to accomplish the challenge you intend to give.

A challenge must be a test of gaming skill and/or knowledge with the games and/or answers present on this specific site.

When you've met all of these other criteria its your job to post your challenge in this thread and relate any other rules you might have.

If you do not accomplish this within one week of receiving the puck I will take the puck back, kick you in the jimmy, and mark you up for cheating.

So it seems you should check with Tenser for details. If you wanna keep it secret until it's ready just PM him.

Love the idea of this "Pass the Puck" thing, but from reading the last couple of pages it seems to have disappeared! I already have a few challenges Id love to dish out, but obviously have to get the puck first. Might give the current game a try soon, dont be expecting anything good though as I've never even heard of it. Game on!

More updates: Managed to get to the next "level" in the clouds, but still dont know whats going on with the dodging/killing enemies. I give up, lol.

I had that same problem. I couldn't figure out if I killed them or not. I think you can headbutt them to kill them. But it only works like half of the time.

It's been awhile but I think if you face the enemy and they hit your sword it makes it so they back off without hurting you. Doesn't kill them though.

Yeah thats half the problem aswell, I got the golden egg worth 5k points, jumped around for a little while longer doing nothing and then a random bird appeared from nowhere taking me to the next level.

I think that's a fair question. I looked this game up and it doesn't seem as ridiculous as something like Ghouls and Ghosts but it also doesn't look like a cakewalk.

...now by mastering are you referring to actually finishing the game or get the high score? If it's the latter, then thetedster should get the puck as he took the HS on 06-24-11.

I asked because in previous games the challenge wasn't always to master a game. I wanted to make sure he meant to actually master or simple get the high score.

I just assume that anytime people say master it means beating the game. Setting a high score doesn't seem to be mastering unless it also beats the game. But it's Tensers challenge so it's his rules.

so...I'm going to be honest, I can beat the game but it's going to take me probably longer then 1 day.

Suffice to say if anyone beats it before me, thats fine. I'm only trying to beat it to get it out of retrouprisings way.

It's an aggravating game, certain items do pretty much nothing, shields and helmets give you more armor... but it's worthless... the game is much less forgiving then any other game I've ever played but it takes so little time to play it, that it doesn't bother me that much.

How long does it take to get to the boss?

it takes around an hour, the Longplay, rushed, takes about an hour for him to beat it.

The only hard part to this game is stage 3 and 4, and the boss. Stage 1 and 2 is a cake walk, Stage 1 you need to simply get the 1-up at the top left corner and only lose 1 life.

Stage 2 simply don't die, hold right when you drop down, get the 1-up from the tree, go back up and finish it up.

Stage 3 when you get to 3-2, the easiest way to get the 1-up at the top right corner is AFTER getting the Magic, simply shoot it at the Fairy/Demon things and get the 1-up.

Stage 4 is bull, plain and simple. The ghosts kill you in 1 hit, just sprint to the middle, get the cup, and sprint the hell out of there, there's a 1-up in 4-1 at the bvottom of the map before the entrance just jump up a little and grab it.

Stage 5 is like a cakewalk.... up until the boss. I got to the last boss(es) with the Diamond shield, didnt do anything for me, the Diamond Helmet, didnt do anything for me... It makes no difference, they throw you around like a drunk monkey and kill you like they own that Mountain.

That's the path I took, look up Ironsword 2 Longplay or walkthrough on youtube to watch before you play.

That's as much preparation as it gets from me!

There's a part of me that says yeah, we should reset the challenge as we want to get the badge in someone's hands.

Then I realize we have at least a dozen members here who could do this within a week if so motivated to. After remembering that I always go back to; we're not in the business of coddeling players. Challenges are meant to be challenging. Ironsword is a classic platformer with just the right amount of "NES hard."
