Out of the 3.2 million views for Perrys video it has over 500 thousand rate downs, 20k more since I first saw it early today. It has 15k likes. The parody videos are like 98% liked. Also, apparently the Perry people insisted his video not be embeddable, the fail is strong with this one for sure.

Romney is the flip flopping ex governor of Massachusetts. He's got tons of money and he's a smooth talker(most of the time) so lots of people like him. Santorum is a joke and he'll be out of the running soon. He's hardcore religious, intolerant, ignorant and unwilling to compromise. He also has a constant "I smell a fart" expression on his face.

GingrichI have only heard one thing from him.
He wants congress to be able to fire judges or entire courts if congress disagrees with their decision thereby changing the entire check and balances that we are supposed to have patriotic pride for. His example was a court ruled that "one country under god" should be removed from the pledge of allegiance. He said the entire court should be dismantled for such blasphemy. Congress should be able to fire judges if the judges decide in favor of separation of church and state.

It's amazing that Newt is so over the top and says things that make him unlikable except by his base. It's not like he's new to politics by any stretch of the imagination.

It's also amusing that he's playing as if he's some ultra patriot when he intentionally avoided the draft(being a student and being a father). He also became interested in politics while vacationing in France, I bet lots of his fans wouldn't be fond of that little tidbit. ;)

To top it all off he's not a stupid guy or part of some political dynasty like Bush Jr or the Kennedys. His father left and he was adopted by the new guy and he went on to be a professor of history. It's amazing what he turned out to be.

I may live in a state that is considered pretty liberal but my local paper is about as conservative and mayberryish as they come. If they tried to post a sex column people would probably protest downtown. I wish I could say I was joking.
