Chalvo 55 Super Puzzle Action High Scores
Description Chalvo 55 is a puzzle video game released in 1997 by Japan System Supply. It features the same main character as the cancelled Virtual Boy game Bound High.
Players control a robot named Chalvo; who can change forms into a ball. Five crystals are needed in order to reach the boss of each level. Enemies and spikes must be avoided or defeated at all times.
Often, the boss of the level operates a trap through a control panel and players must devise a workaround in order to defeat him. One of the glitches in the game is that the player can operate the trap (sometimes on himself) after the boss is defeated simply by activating the control panel. Eight stages are present in the game; with a secret password responsible for hiding a secret ninth level.
Players can view an area map in addition to a larger world map that states their position within the entire game. Movable hard blocks can be relocated in order to reveal hidden passageways; often with a crystal nearby.
