2-XL Robot Game Menu

2-XL is a educational toy robot for children made in 1978 that used 8-track tapes to play a sort of audio version of choose your own adventure books and trivia.

A revamped model was made in 1992 that used cassette tapes instead of 8-tracks.

I had one in 1985 when I was about 7. It was probably my favorite toy that year. If you have children have them check it out.

Currently we only have 15 games online. I would like to eventually add all 89. If you have any tapes that we are missing, or want to buy some from ebay, contact me.

I would like to eventually do something similar with laser disk games. This is kind of a practice run at that.

Updated this today - 2-XL Talking Robot Emulator - added many more cassetts from the 90's Tiger version.

If you have small children, they might like it.

Works in any browser. Requires Flash.

There are a few of these on RU but I'm probably not going to update them here.

I'm sure you have this covered already, but I do own a set of DAPHNE DVDs. I saw earlier in this thread a mention of laserdisc games.
