Clock Tower for Dummies

If you've played a little bit of the game, the thing you probably took the most interest in was the little boy who killed off one of your dear friends with a huge pair of scissors, and then tried to do the same to you. You may have played Clock Tower on the PS1, or may have heard the name elsewhere, and likewise you will probably call this dastardly foe "Scissor Man". This kid is not the Scissor Man, and if you have not played the game through, you should come to terms with the fact that this demented freak of nature has no name.

Anyways, his name is Bob. Bob is doing well. He is doing so well in fact, that you should not even try to let him near you if you see him, as he is flat out bad news. Granted, I would approach a kid weilding huge shears in real life, but still, you aren't superman in this game. If you should encounter this Bobby-o-boy-o, you should either high tail it or tuck tail it, but be warned that not all hiding spots are safe all of the time, but they may work some of the time. Though, you can take relief in the fact that you will not encounter him very often if you know what not to do. Other than that, the most obvious dangers I can stray you away from with some simple advice(for now) is to avoid bathrooms, never investigate screaming noises, never touch armor statues, never examine mirors, never play on the piano, never hang around manniquins, never steal a car but don't be afraid to raid the fridge.

That is all as of July 4th. Please wait until the next unit where I will discuss the basic steps to obtaining the "S" ending, and include some images from the game to use as maps.

He actually has quite a demented sense of humor that shows at a few spots, some of his gags that were more subtle(poking his head out of a hole in the ceiling) actually made me chuckle a bit. It's interesting what they do to build on what kind of mind Bob has despite the fact that he has no dialogue.
