Why not have the ability to pause for Coin Op scoring? Should we really have to stop our score attempt because we need to facilitate, smoke, or do some other necessity? If we are allowed to pause the game for home console scores, we should have the ability to pause for Coin Op. Thanks for reading, please vote.
Depends on the game. If it is trivia then you should not pause more than once or twice and then only to freeze the finial screen with your score. If there is no need to freeze the final score then you should not pause a trivia game.
If it is a puzzle game like Tetris then you can pause a few more times but don't do anything sketchy or suspicious.
Any other game you could pause a couple hundred times but if you do it enough to force slow motion then it will not count.
In other words you can use pause as pause was intended, not to cheat.
