B. Rap Boys

I'm a fan of beat em' up games so when I found this game I just had to play it. This is the sequel to "DJ Boy" and has the same feel to it. This is a 1 to 3 player game with three playable characters. However if you play it here in RU, you won't be able to choose and will get the same character no matter what.

There really isn't a story to this. The game just starts and you're soon fighting off a bunch of thugs to some cool rap beats.

It's a beat em' up. It doesn't get any more simpler than that. It's fast and smooth with lots of baddies to beat up. You can pick up a variety of weapons like sticks and bottles to trash cans and two by fours. As with many side scrolling fighters, you get life ups in the form of snacks like burgers and sodas. Fighting your way to the end of a level is tough, and then you get to fight a boss which is even tougher.

Graphics 3: This game is from 92' so the graphics are a bit outdated but very smooth and fast. Lots of colors then gets to more single tones when reaching the boss stage.

Sound 3: This game had excellent music from it's time. Lots of rap beats that help get you into the groove to beat your computer opponents to a pulp. I could play this game for the music alone.

Replay Value 2: If you like beating your own personal record then this is the game for you. That's the only bad part about beat em' up games that I can think of. Once you beat the game that's pretty much it. You can beat them up again if you'd like.

Challenge 5: You got it! Coin-op games were never known for being easy, and in B. Rap Boys you get lots of enemies on the screen coming at you with fist, bottles, baseball bats and more. To top it off when you battle a boss, you also have to fight off more regular enemies aswell. You'll do best with two buddies by your side helping you serve those tasty knuckle sandwiches out.\

Tilt 2: Not the best of it's kind, but worth playing for the challenge.
