So let me get this straight. He killed the god like Phoenix with a nuke?

First of all how did he catch her off guard? Besides her near god like powers she's also one of, if not the, strongest telepath known to the Marvel universe. She's able to sense things on more than a global scale, why wouldn't she pick up on him about to murder all her friends?

Secondly, she's literally a phoenix. By definition she cannot be killed as long as the phoenix force is inside her. Like the mythological creature she is reborn upon death.

Lastly, Magneto was also killed by this? Did they make the nuke out of non metal materials or something? He can detect trace amounts of metal in someones blood stream but somehow he didn't sense a large payload missile hurtling towards him?

Again, sorry to rant but this whole thing just doesn't hold water at all. I really do like Punisher but this storyline is a joke.
