Alien Isolation
 

If you are a fan of the Alien movies, more specifically the first one, then you need to play this game. You are Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, sent to recover the flight recorder of the Nostromo. As you can guess, it's won't be as simple as that.

It is a survival game, you may even say survival horror.

It faithfully revives the feel of the first movie where you are trapped and nearly helpless against the Alien. It also very much has the visual style of the ships of the first movie.

If you are not a fan of slow moving, stealth type games you should probably stay away. Combat is rare and usually not a viable option, you must hide and sneak your way around to survive.

Looks great but it looks like I wouldn't be able to play it, too scary.

I don't think it's all that scary, tense is more like it. You become paranoid the Alien is always around the next corner.

I mean scary for me. I don't do well with those kind of games. I guess I don't enjoy being tense.
