Fix for high pitched whine on a tube tv?

My crt tvs acting up. Looking for a fix. Not replacing it for a reason. Perfect for 0 second delay gaming on old consoles.

Basically there's been a loud screech thats barely hearable coming from my tv. Sony 27" trinitron. Started noticing it when it showed up on my YouTube videos and I had to use noise removal to get rid of it. Not only is it a pain to edit that out. Its a general annoyance now that I've noticed it. I swear its on a frequency that humans can barely hear. Maybe some can't.

Anyways. Looking for what the problem is, if it's fixable, and how to fix it. Help greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.

Written on phone.

I had one that would make that sound, a technical thump on the side or top usually stopped it

Probably a problem with one of the power components on the chassis.

Who knows? Post a picture of the boards inside the TV. Might be a flyback issue. http://homearcade.org/BBBB/whiny.html is a guide to fix that.
