Do you realize this means the terrorists win? The whole point of terrorism is to disrupt a society through fear and violence. Closing our borders goes against what the US stands for. It also proves their point that the west hates muslims simply for being muslim.
On top of that it won't really stop any serious threats. If these people want to wreak havoc in the US they'll get here another way. Maybe they'll just stroll across the Canadian border? Canadians and US citizens do it all the time.

They're only looking at carefully selected photos that seem to show only able bodied males, because that's scarier than all the women, children and old people who are also coming in. It's right wing propaganda.

Nothing but pandering to scared people. Legally they cannot refuse them. If they resist then they'll have the army in their state enforcing it. I'm sure some will make a big show of resisting but in the end they'll all cave and deal with it more rationally when people calm down.
