However, it's probably for the best. Main series Pokemon games have become so boring to me. We'll get more of the same rehashed stuff with different stories, but Pokemon GO will work together with the next main series games. Some how.

The developers of Pokemon Go are completely different teams from the developers of the main games. I don't think they will have a big impact on one another.
