What are you looking to do with it? What kind of games?

If you really want top tier. I would go with the 700 series gtx cards or the R series from amd. Last i checked amd was losing the race the but r series may put it back on the map.

I love intel so i would go with a nice 6 core setup (but thats me as im on quad). And honestly quad would be plenty but 6 if you're a tech whore. min 4 gigs of ram - i'd go with 6 or 8. Timing in my opinion is a vanity type deal. While it can be important it's not a huge deal.

Sound card? i dont know. Anything i guess. I use an external dac/amp combo myself.
