Most modern Catholics don't want to embark on a holy war to invade the Middle East and kill all the Muslims. I think.
Most modern Germans don't want to conquer Europe and commit genocide.
Most modern KKK members do believe in white supremacy, segregation and anti-immigration and several of them are willing to use extreme violence and hate for those causes.
Catholics and Germans have moved past their darkest days. KKK not so much. Seems the KKK's darkest days are only behind them because their power has faded, not their desires.
