I know it's not needed but it's still wrong to take parts out of a game and hold them for later and charge customers for it. There's lots of DLC out there that I would love to experience but I'm not paying another 10-20 bucks on top of the 60 I paid to buy it new.
And before anyone says it, no it's not always possible to buy the game used. The industry is working at full strength to make that option go away. Besides working with stores like Gamestop to raise their prices and make it not worth it they also have techniques in place that force you to buy new or pay for content that is literally on the disc. Money is the motivation and we're being taken for a ride.
