Any of these mods look cool to add to the server?
 

GameSpy: Minecraft's Top 5 Mods - Page 1

Just googling good mods, that came up and it looks cool. I plan to try a few of them offline and see what their like.

Thoughts?

The humans mod seems like it would get old quick.

The dinosaur one is a novelty and is not something I'd wanna see on the server.

Millénaire sounds cool but the video was taken down and it sounds like it might conflict with the next update.

Mo' Creatures sounds good, can't really find much fault in it.

JurrasiCraft looks pretty cool.

EDIT: I see DB's point. It probably wouldn't see a lot of use and may put strain on the server.

Go back and look at the dinosaurs, they fail hard. Funny but useless.

I just like the idea of larger mobs that can drop more items, I suppose.

The animal mod seems to be the best. Besides roving gangs of angry bears killing the livestock it seems like a straight upgrade to MC.

Some game changing mods would be cool I think anyways. Nothing too severe though of course. I'm trying the Millenaire for now. I just googled a recent one.

I kind of agree with the Jurrasicraft one as well. I think Humans+ would be cool actually. I'm looking for stuff to add to the game.

I'm aware we can't add mods for a while yet, but I figure I test a bunch out and let you know here what I think.

I like the idea of the animals one too, I actually thought the least of that one, but on second look, it's probably just what I'm looking for in one aspect. I'm also looking to make this game scary and threatening again, and have something to defend and build against.

7 new types of dungeon added randomly to the map {but I've found more than that } :bulgy-eyes: each is very complex in design and loaded with loot, but guarded by ..

Custom mobs {such as different - colored, armor - wearing, sword - wielding skeletons, as one example} with much higher than normal hit points {due to the armor they wear: gold, iron, or diamond}

Inside each dungeon you will find complex maze systems, secret rooms, and deadly redstone - powered traps which slow your progress toward ..

Bosses.
These Bosses live up to their name, having special abilities the rest of the custom mobs do not { such as the Necromancers' knock back/repel/ damage spells, as one example} and each guards a special treasure, well worth the battle.
{NOT pig saddles and cocoa beans, I assure you}

They continually spawn minions to aid them in battle and even the most hardcore dungeoneers should find defeating them a challenge.

These are the best dungeons I've played so far, and I'm comparing it to mods like 'MACE' and 'MC Dungeon' {both are great but for dungeoneering Chocolate is best, both for added content and playability}

... Tell me where else you're gonna find a Goblin riding a Giant Siverfish - inside an underwater garden dungeon?
